			Situated only 7 miles from medieval Durham City, with it's famed Cathedral, Castle and University and other internationally famous attractions, it is well placed for the rider and none rider alike.
		Ivesley is fortunate in having direct access to miles of safe but fun hacking and bridleways through woodland and moorland where guests can enjoy peaceful and scenic surroundings. The area is ideal for mountain biking and walking being on the edge of the North Pennine Moors. You may prefer to not ride at all, but to use us as a base to tour the area. There is much to see, ranging from the magnificence of Durham Cathedral to the Metro Centre at Gateshead, which is the most popular shopping centre in Europe. The region has a wealth of attractions such as Hadrians Wall, Beamish Museum and active Theatres.
